The Wheaton Academy Warriors traveled to ICCP on Wednesday night to play in a very cold match. The Warriors', Rebecca Steininger, scored first off of a corner kick in the first half and the Warriors never looked back. ICCP held numbers behind the ball and the Warriors were able to possess the ball throughout the match. Sophie Lindquist added the second goal after halftime to put the Warriors up 2-0.
Erin Teevans then added the third and fourth as the Warriors secured the victory, 4-1. Marta Oster made 1 save in the net for the Warriors. The Warriors move to 3-0 overall on the year and 2-0 in conference play.
The Warriors will have their first home game on April 5th against Fenton HS.
