Warriors Tie Strong DGN Squad

The Wheaton Academy Warriors notched a 1-1 tie against last year's class 3A fourth place team, Downers Grove North.  Wheaton Academy scored off of a set piece 2 minutes into the game and held the lead through halftime.  Downers Grove found a rebound goal in the second half that tied the game.  Neither team could find the game winner.  Rebecca Steininger scored the goal for the Warriors while Marta Oster made 5 saves in the goal.  

The Warriors move to 7-3-1 on the year.
