Wheaton Academy lost to Fenwick in the Sectional semi-final to conclude their 2019 season. The Warriors fell behind in the first half against a strong wind by the score of 2-0.
Sophie Lindquist scored just 4 minutes into the second hafl and the Warriors had some momentum. Unfortunately, a tough third goal was allowed and the Warriors fell behind by 2 goals again. A brilliant combination between

Amy Alexander almost found a finish to make it 3-2 but a kick save kept the score at 3-1. The Warriors conceded a fourth with numbers forward late in the match. The Warriors send off 6 phenomenal seniors in
Lydia Sedjo, Kat Sezonov,
Faith Pollino,
Anne Camille Hardy,
Sophie Lindquist, and
Rebecca Steininger. The Warriors won the MSC Conference, the Wheaton Academy Regional, and finished with 13 wins.
