11/20 vs Harvest Christian: On the third and final day of the Thanksgiving Tournament Wheaton Academy took on Harvest Christian. The girls came out of the gates slow, only scoring 3 points in the first quarter and trailing by 9. Quarter number two was a little better but WA still trailed going into the half by a score of 25-11. The second half was a different story as the girls tightened up the team defense, only allowing Harvest to score four 3rd quarter points and five 4th quarter points. The offense also found it's stride in the second half as they dropped 27 second half points to overcome the big halftime deficit and win 38-34. Jillian Paulson led the team with 13 points and Freshman Lexi Rojek added 10 of her own to help lead the Warrior comeback. The win sees the team win their Thanksgiving tournament and open the season with a 3-0 record. The girls return to action Monday 11/22 when they travel to cross town rival West Chicago before taking the week off for Thanksgiving.
