A lot was riding on this game for Wheaton Academy, an outright conference title, an automatic play-off birth and a chance to beat the #15 team in the state, undefeated Marian Central. The Warriors fought hard throughout the entire game but in the end the Hurricanes proved too much for them, final score 41-7. The highlight of the game came in the 3rd quarter when the Warrior defense had a goaline stand and then the offense marched down the field 97 yards for their only touchdown of the night. Even with the loss, the Warriors ended up in a 3-way tie for first place in the conference. Congratulations on a great season!
