JV Boys Tie First Game of St. Charles Tournament

The Warriors began the group stage of the St. Charles tournament the morning after a 7-0 defeat of Glenbard South at Homecoming.

The St. Charles tournament, which includes 16 JV teams from the Chicago area, will run over two consecutive weekends.  The 16 teams begin with four groups, where each team will play the other 3 teams in the group.  The top two teams from each group advance to the quarterfinals, which will begin next Saturday.  The Warriors found themselves in a group of Geneva, Huntley, and Schaumburg.

The weekend was cold and windy, but the Warriors were able to pull out a tie in their opening game against Geneva.  Grayson Harris scored 6 minutes into the game after an assist from Jack Kilgallon.  The Vikings leveled the game four minutes later, and the rest of the game remained tied.  The Warriors took a point away from the game and both Huntley and Schaumburg came out with a point after the first game, after tying 0-0.
