The Warriors tied their opening game of the St. Charles tournament against Geneva, but pulled off a huge win against Huntley to lead the group after two games played.
Grayson Harris opened the scoring 8 minutes in after an assist from
Kade Clousing. Just after halftime, Grayson returned the favor and assisted
Kade Clousing to give the Warriors a 2-0 lead. Three minutes before the final whistle,
Brian Henry scored a penalty to give the Warriors a commanding 3-0 lead. Just before the end of the game, Huntley pulled back a goal to end the game 3-1, in favor of the Warriors. In the other group game, Geneva and Schaumburg tied 1-1. Entering the final game, the Warriors lead the group with 4 points, Geneva and Schaumburg each had 2 points, and Huntley had 1 point. The Warriors would secure first place in the group with a win and could secure advancing to the playoffs with a tie.
