Girls Golf Opens Season at Barrington Invitational

Carpentersville, IL -

The Wheaton Academy girl's golf team opened the season at the Barrington Invitational held at the Bonnie Dundee Golf Course.  Ten programs squared off on the 4,900 yard, par 71, course.  Teams included in the invitational were:  Barrington, Buffalo Grove, Glenbard West, Glenbrook North, Highland Park, Lake Forest, Lake Zurich, St. Charles East, Vernon Hills, and Wheaton Academy.

Barrington posted a total of 292 to take first place.  Wheaton Academy finished 7th with a four girl total of 334.  Scoring for the Warriors were:  Margaret Harmon 79 (So.), Lauren Isenhart 80 (Sr.), Meredith Bult 82 (Sr.), and Grace Vickers 93 (Jr.). 

Next up will be the West Aurora Scramble on Saturday, August 20th @ 8 pm (It's a night golf event).
