The Wheaton Academy Warriors won the Sectional title on Friday night with a 3-0 win over Timothy Christian. The Warriors scored in the first 2 minutes off of a set piece as
Grayson Harris finished in the box. The Warriors added another before halftime as
Luke Holwerda's strike found the upper corner to give the Warriors a 2 goal lead at the break. In the second half the Trojans of Timothy were awarded a penalty kick but
JD Gunn made the diving save to keep the game at 2-0.
Seamus Kilgallon then finished a left footed strike in the second half to put the lead at 3-0. The Warriors kept the shutout, got the win, and won the sectional title. The Warriors are now 22-4 overall on the year and advance to the Sterling Super-Sectional on Tuesday at 6pm against Quincy Notre Dame.
